This is a recipe I randomly thought about whilst watching The Big Bang Theory at the gym, yep, that’s me, working out and thinking of cake. It’s called a balanced diet dear reader.
The 200th Episode of TBBT is also Sheldon’s birthday, which he is forced to celebrate, and eventually enjoys thanks to Batman and a shower chat with Penny. My cake differs a little from Sheldon’s because I wanted to add some bright sprinkles, it’s a little throwback to my favourite episode – The Einstein Approximation – the one with the ball pit.
Sheldon’s specifications for his cake include “Chocolate with strawberry frosting, three layers. If there’s writing on it, make sure it’s not in all caps. I don’t want my dessert yelling at me” which is great, strawberry frosting is my ultimate favourite flavour, and I make a mean chocolate cake.

Hey there you! I’m sorry for not posting in a while, but unfortunately I’ve been taken by the flu Demon for the past couple of weeks – It’s a joy, really. I’ve also recently started a new job which is amazing, and have been working on stuff for my upcoming holiday, so busy, busy, busy…argh!
But today I’d thought I’d share my love of pies with you once again. However these are better. Why? Because they are hand pies. Essentially portable fruit pies! There is absolutely nothing bad about portable pie. Nothing.
I love the story of how Momo from Avatar: The Legend of Aang got his name, and Moon Peaches just sound so enchanting don’t they? So I decided to think up a recipe incorporating them, something that would be quick to rustle up, but something that would be portable, so that Aang and his friends could take them on their adventures. I’ve just recently been watching some old episodes of Kim Possible. It was one of, if not my favourite cartoon as a kid, so when starting up a more food-orientated blog, it was one of my first ports-of-call.
I remembered all kinds off cartoon food, particularly ‘THE NACO!’, which I aim to have a recipe up for by the end of this month. But today, I have one of Drakken’s favourite foods, although he probably wouldn’t admit it…Nana Possible’s Lemon Bars!
Now these aren’t your traditional lemon bars, because, I didn’t google, and also I didn’t make the mix from scratch. Instead, I used a great vegan hack – instead of using eggs etc. Just add 12floz of fizzy drink! I know! Continue reading “Nana Possible’s Lemon Bars – A Kim Possible Recipe”
If you can think about pie, without thinking of Dean Winchester, then clearly you have a problem and need to take a hard look at yourself. Just kidding. But seriously Dean’s love for pie is so famous, it’s canon, and I love it. What better dish to sit down and Supernatural marathon with, than this here – Dean’s Apple Pie.
Obviously as always, this recipe is Vegan and ridiculously easy to make. This pie should serve eight people and you want to set your oven to 200ºC. Continue reading “Dean Winchester’s Apple Pie – A Supernatural Recipe”
